Powders in Daily Life
One of the most common examples of powder in everyday life is flour.
Flour is used for many different applications, such as the production of noodles, bread, cake, soup, thickening agents and more. Each application needs a different type of flour suitable to its purpose. For example, there are many types of both soft and hard flours. They vary in grain size, gluten content and protein content to name a few characteristics. It is Powder Technology that is applied to created flour characteristics by using crushing technique, classification technique and such through the production process.

If you look around, you will see that everyday products have a powder base including: spices powdered drinks, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paint and coatings, toothpaste, fertilizers, and many more. They all are products derived from processes in which Powder Technology is deeply involved.
